About Nick’s Restaurant

Only one hour’s scenic drive from Cairns, Tropical North Queensland – Australia!

Nick’s Restaurant is nestled in the lush green countryside of Yungaburra in the Atherton Tablelands just a stone’s throw away from the local platypus viewing platform and Curtin fig tree. Nine months of the year, the Atherton Tablelands experiences warm and sunny weather with temperatures averaging 25C.

Nick and his team use the freshest and best products from the local region for their a la carte menu. Thus, Nick created and grew an award-winning garden of native Australian trees, scrubs and tropical fruit trees.

Most of the staff has been employed with us for over 5 years plus we continuously train young people. We love the hospitality industry, especially meeting people from around the world and pride ourselves on offering a professional, courteous and efficient service.

Nick’s serves Swiss Italian cuisine and modern Australian dishes, to be savoured as a single dish or to be shared. The range of eating experiences on offer at Nick’s is: light or full lunches; dinners; special functions and events or takeaway meals. All our drinks are served from our rustic Yodellers Bar.

Over the past 20 years Nick’s has received many awards of excellence for great food, entertainment and theme nights. The ambiance and atmosphere is unique, and for many patrons it has been the highlight of their holidays in Australia.

We can accommodate people’s special dietary requirements, including a variety of vegetarian meals as well as a full children’s menu*. The Restaurant and amenities are accessible for wheelchairs, has a baby change facility, free wifi and ample free car parking.
